Cohen has said in the past that the issues in their marriage were longstanding but that he continues to support Vargas's addressing her problems and recovery, just as he always has.Sources close to Vargas have said she and Davis are just friends and that she does not feel like this is the right time in her life to start anything new. Instead, she is remaining focused on her recovery.

The last time we saw Prince George was for his birthday in July, and boy has he grown. No longer a baby, George is a toddler on the go. Perhaps the best part of the new photos is the fact that they capture his personality. Sierra Leone is now the hardest-hit country, surpassing the illness and death that even Liberia has seen, and its leaders are scrambling to find ways to keep Ebola from spreading. That has led them to determine that public Christmas and New Year's celebrations are now banned.People are now forbidden from gathering in groups to celebrate as they normally would. Military personnel will once again take to the streets to make sure that groups of revelers are not gathering together, which would basically intensify the risk of spreading the virus to each other. This is just one more way the everyday lives of the people of West Africa have been disrupted by this epidemic.As of Dec. 10, Sierra Leone had recorded 8,000 cases of Ebola and nearly 1,900 deaths. In West Africa as a whole, more than 18,000 people have been infected, resulting in more than 6,500 deaths. Those numbers are pretty harrowing, but the truth is many at the World Health Organization feared they would be far higher by now.

Obviously his legal team has advised him that it is probably in his best interest not to comment, but last Friday Cosby spoke with a Page Six reporter and in the matter of just a few words attempted to play the race card.Cosby has requested that, in spite of all the allegations, the media do their job and remain neutral while covering this scandal and its daily updates. Apparently, Cosby does not expect the majority of the press to be able to do that, as he said, "Let me say this. I only expect the black media to uphold the standards of excellence in journalism and when you do that you have to go in with a neutral mind."It is more than a little bit ironic that Cosby opted to make a statement that would separate journalists by color, especially at this point in time when racial tensions are perhaps at an all-time high thanks to high-profile cases in Ferguson, Missouri, and New York City. Cosby knew what he was tapping into when making that statement, and it also links to a bigger issue that is playing out in the form of protests all over the country.

Panola County police are now working over time to try and piece together who is responsible for such a heinous act.

Smith is accused of misjudging a turn and crossing the center line of State Route 84 before hitting a culvert which caused the car to flip end-over-end.

Aniston's work as a chronic pain sufferer in "Cake" has been praised since it was first previewed in September. We heard early on that her performance was generating Oscar buzz, but it was not until she actually started turning up on the list of nominees for other awards did anyone really take that too seriously.

Sources close to the couple say they have hit an incredibly rough patch, and many things are dividing them. Kardashian reportedly feels like their marriage is just a business arrangement and that West puts his new family way down on the list of priorities.Their living situation has also turned into a major bone of contention, as Kardashian has been living at her mother Kris Jenner's house for nearly two years now. Not only does the couple not have a home of their own, but West reportedly has every intention of making Paris his permanent residence next year, and little North West will be going with him. He also admits that his friends from the hit ABC show tried their best to cover for and support him ... until his behavior went too far.

In the season finale, which aired last week, it looked like Ray J had dumped his girlfriend of two years, Princess Love, in order to reconnect with Teairra Mari. When the reunion shows aired this week, it was clear Ray and Love were back together, but a bit of drama has gone down this week that led him to call 911, thinking she was going to kill herself.According to a report by TMZ, Ray broke up with Love Tuesday night, Dec. 9, and by Wednesday, Dec. 10, photos of him getting cozy with Karrueche Tran had surfaced. Needless to say, that did not sit well with her and Love reportedly threatened to kill herself. Ray called 911 and had authorities come out to the home he was sharing with Love to perform a welfare check. She was not at home when the police arrived and supposedly called Ray to reassure him she was not really going to shoot herself.

    So many people tuned in to VH1's "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" reunion shows this week to catch a glimpse of Masika Kalysha Tucker and Yung Berg together. We already know that just a few short hours after the taping the couple got into a violent altercation that lead to Tucker telling NYPD police officers that Berg dragged and hit her before choking her out. In the weeks that followed, Tucker may have flip-flopped on what she said happened, but VH1 made sure everyone tuning in knew its position.It played a public service announcement from No More, showing various celebrities speaking out about domestic violence, and then they informed viewers of Berg's arrest shortly after the taping. VH1 said that it does not condone the violence and immediately severed all ties with Berg, basically once again confirming that he has been fired from the cast of "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood."As for Tucker and Berg's status, after a brief break the two appeared to be back together, and she has tried to insist that everything was blown out of proportion on the night in question. The problem with that is the fact that he was charged based on her account of what supposedly transpired between them.

    On Monday, Dec. 8, we told you about the sad murder-suicide of Stephanie Moseley and her husband Earl Hayes. The couple were reportedly working on a reconciliation when things turned violent in their upscale Hollywood apartment. Hayes was reportedly FaceTiming with Floyd Mayweather about Moseley's alleged infidelity when he totally lost it. The aspiring rapper supposedly walked into the bathroom where Moseley was bathing and began firing shots before turning the gun on himself. We are also now learning that when searching the apartment police uncovered 10 pounds of marijuana.According to a report by TMZ, it was an enormous stash with a street value of about $40,000 and it had to be removed from the property by an armed guard. Police confirm that this was most certainly not just for personal use but that it was for dealing and distribution. While Moseley had a successful career as a star of VH1's "Hit the Floor" and had toured with various stars such as Usher and Britney Spears, there were a few recent tweets by her regarding money concerns.

    Just yesterday we were wondering if "Time" magazine would make sense out of its unusual short list of contenders for its 2014 Person of the Year, and thankfully its end game is rooted in logic. For a second there it looked like Vladimir Putin, with his ill-prepared Sochi Olympic Games and war with Ukraine actually had a chance at the title. Thankfully, "Time" announced this morning that the Ebola fighters have been named the 2014 Person of the Year.Since late August, the U.S. has panicked as some of our own stricken caregivers, such as Nancy Writebol and Dr. Kent Brantly in Liberia, have been transported back home to the States, where their hopes of survival are better. Nurses like Nina Pham and Amber Vinson were not properly trained to care for Ebola patients and ended up with the illness themselves. Adding insult to injury, the CDC went so far as to try to blame them for getting sick. The irony is that each caregiver has thought nothing of going back to work after their own recovery. When asked if they would care for another Ebola patient, the response has immediately been yes.

    It looks like all that buzz surrounding Jennifer Aniston's performance in "Cake" is not for nothing because this morning the actress found herself on the short list of Outstanding Lead Actress contenders for the SAG Awards. It is a huge deal for Aniston just to be nominated after years of floundering in the rom-com zone. Now her name is being spoken among the likes of Julianne Moore, Reese Witherspoon, Rosamund Pike and Felicity Jones, all fellow SAG nominees this year.This time around Aniston embraced a totally different kind of character and tackled the role of chronic pain sufferer Claire Bennett with a real openness that has won her rave reviews since "Cake" first previewed in early September. In fact, it was the overwhelmingly positive response to it that prompted producers to rush to get it out this year, making it eligible for this current awards cycle rather than risking it getting lost at the beginning of next year's films.No one is likely more surprised by this nomination than Aniston herself. In recent weeks she has gotten a bit giddy just thinking about the fact that people were mentioning that "Cake" could be award-worthy. The actual nomination probably means almost as much as taking home the trophy would for the woman who, at least up until now, has been best known for her role as Rachel Green on "Friends."

    Kendall Jenner has been insisting for the last few years that being part of the Kardashian family has actually prevented her from being taken seriously in the modeling world. Jenner has no intention of becoming her mother's victim and jumping at every possible money-making scheme that exists. According to a report by Radar Online, Jenner has already officially moved out of Kris's home and has begun severing business ties.Jenner realizes that she is going to need a solid PR team behind her if she is going to see her modeling career turn into a lengthy endeavor, and she knows Kris is incapable of making it happen. Instead of looking at the whole picture, Kris likes to swoop in and grab paychecks. Jenner obviously wants to get paid, but she is also looking to have some longevity in the business.

  • A Petition Has Been Filed by National Bar Association to Strip Darren Wilson of His Police Badge in Missouri

    About a week after learning that he would not be indicted for the Aug. 9 shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown, Darren Wilson ironed out the details and resigned from the Ferguson Police Department. Wilson agreed with the department that it is in everyone's best interest that he not serve and protect in Ferguson again.His being on the streets would only put him as well as other officers at risk. While it seems unlikely that Wilson will patrol anywhere again, he has still retained his badge — and that is something the National Bar Association is not happy about.The country's oldest and largest group of African-American attorneys and judges have filed a nine-page petition requesting that Wilson be completely stripped of his badge. The official petition is requesting that the Missouri Department of Public Safety revoke Wilson's badge. While under oath, Wilson insisted that during his altercation with Brown he had feared for his life, but some naysayers believe the officer got away with murder.

"Entertainment Weekly" got it right in naming Fallon the 2014 Entertainer of the Year, and as it turns out, even Jay Leno agrees.It was rumored at first that NBC was shoving Leno out to make room for Fallon, but there was never any animosity between these two. Instead, Leno took his exit with a shred of grace and now he gets the appeal of Fallon just like all the rest of us.Leno told "EW" in an interview:"I don't watch every night, but I watch and I enjoy — and I enjoy Seth [Meyers], too. Jimmy's a really great mimic. When I saw him do Neil Young, I just thought he was lip-syncing the song. But no — he really captures the nuances really well. It's different. Everybody has their strengths and weaknesses. I could never do a musical parody — it's just not what's in me. You know, I got out at the right time.     Several weeks ago we heard about how Teresa Giudice was rumored to be ironing out the details in order to launch a cooking show once she finishes serving her 15-month prison term for financial crimes. The former star of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" is trying to figure out how to provide for her four daughters later on as well as in the immediate future. One thing is for certain, her shady husband Joe Giudice will likely be of much financial help. It seems, though, that at least for now Bravo has opted to sever ties with the reality star, so she has had to get a bit creative. Glam.com offered her an online cooking show, and Giudice jumped at the chance.Her first episode of "Haute Hostess" is online now and features Giudice making shrimp and pasta from her cookbook "Fabulicious." Throughout her years on "RHONJ," it was always insinuated that Giudice rarely cooks, so peddling her books is just about as fraudulent as everything else she has done to make some fast cash. A few years ago, when Giudice's fan base was huge, the idea of a Web cooking show would have taken off like crazy, but now not so much.There is little doubt that she is hoping that "Haute Hostess" will be an online hit and that it will make Bravo's executives reconsider whether or not to take another chance on her.

    On Wednesday, Dec. 10, "Time" magazine will announce its 2014 Person of the Year, and after learning who landed on the short list of candidates, we are more than a little confused. Some of the names on the list are not too shocking.There is Tim Cook, who introduced a bunch of new Apple products this year and then decided to come out of the closet, making him the first openly gay CEO of a Fortune 500 company. There is Taylor Swift, who, as a top-selling artist, decided to pull her music from Spotify this past fall because she believes the streaming service is not compensating artists nearly enough.But some of the other contenders are a bit baffling.Like Vladimir Putin, the Russian president who guided his country through hosting the Sochi Olympics in February under subpar conditions. He has also been one of the ringleaders in the ongoing strife between Russia and eastern Ukraine. Then there is NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who has spent the last six months living under a microscope because it seems the majority of even NFL fans believe he purposely set out to cover up several domestic violence cases within the league, including the now-infamous knockout punch by Ray Rice that was caught on surveillance tape and then shown to the world.The Ferguson protesters have also made the list, but wouldn't it have made more sense for the peaceful protesters in New York City's chokehold case to have made it instead? By pointing to Ferguson, sadly the first thing that comes to mind for many people is either the rioting and destruction of local businesses after Darren Wilson was not indicted, or else the video of Michael Brown's grieving and angry stepfather directing the crowd to burn things down.

Apparently, it is considerably more than what Osbourne started out with, and that is just one more reason for her to be ticked off. It is not like Griffin and Osbourne have ever seen eye to eye anyway, but these issues are only adding fuel to the fire.

  • The Senate Releases Detailed Report on CIA Torture Tactics Post-9/11 as U.S. Fears Retaliation Overseas

    Earlier this morning the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee released a 500-page report that is a summary of the CIA's post-9/11 torture program, which was intended to make prisoners of war give up crucial information. It has been widely reported that the Central Intelligence Agency took extreme measures in order to unsuccessfully make al-Qaida members talk in the years following 9/11. President Barack Obama supported the public release of the five-year investigation in the hopes that the American government will use it as a future example of what not to do.What we are learning from this report is that the people who worked in the "enhanced interrogation program" basically resorted to torture such as waterboarding, mock executions and threatened sexual violence under inhumane conditions for detainees — many of whom were later revealed to have no terrorism ties whatsoever. The U.S. government has confirmed that the program was more horrific than most Americans knew and that it went against our country's code of behavior. Obama quickly banned "enhanced interrogation techniques" once taking office after his 2009 inauguration.Of course, there is a dangerous downside to this full report being made public, and some lawmakers believe it was a "reckless" move because it can ultimately light a fire under those who are already wishing to bring harm to U.S. business at home and overseas. Embassies are under heavy guard and U.S. government buildings are at a heightened security as everyone waits for the international rage and backlash that is inevitably coming.
