According to a report by Australia Woman's Day, Pitt and Jolie were caught having a blow out on their hotel in Sydney.

    When U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel announced his resignation earlier today, it seemed that few Washington insiders were surprised. He reportedly had been dissatisfied with his job heading up the Pentagon and admitted that this decision was a mutual one made after only two years on the job. It had originally been Hagel's job to help guide our troops home after a 13-year war and to help our military to make as smooth a transition as possible. Hagel did accomplish that, but he seemed to see little hope of being able to do much else under the current administration.President Barack Obama has readily admitted that change is necessary and feels that putting a new person into the official role of Defense secretary might be a good move.U.S. Sen.     The internal politics and constant discord behind the scenes at NBC's "Today" have become almost as big of a story as anything reported on camera. NBC has spent the last two years scrambling to try and reclaim its former top spot in the morning ratings war. In September, Jamie Horowitz started to observe Today's daily show so that by December new changes could be implemented at his request. A few weeks ago, he gave a five-hour presentation to NBC News head Deborah Furness, and in the end Horowitz was out of a job instead of anyone else.News leaked out recently that Natalie Morales and Willie Geist had been fired by NBC, and while those reports were later discredited, that is exactly part of what Horowitz had in mind. He also wanted Matt Lauer's co-host, Savannah Guthrie, let go to make room for Hoda Kotb instead, and if you are a fan of Al Roker, then you would have been out of luck because Horowitz would have fired him as well.

    Since shooting Michael Brown Aug. 9, Ferguson, Missouri, Police Officer Darren Wilson has managed to disappear completely off the grid as he waits to find out whether or not an indictment and formal charges will be coming. His is a case that has led to rioting in the St. Louis suburb, and what started as a violent altercation between Wilson and Brown has morphed into a full civil-rights debate. An interview with Wilson would no doubt equal blockbuster ratings, and we are hearing that he has quietly met with a few possible contenders.According to The Huffington Post, several journalists — including Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon and Matt Lauer — have talked to Wilson off the record. These meetings are standard procedure because they help the subject — in this case Wilson — figure out who they feel the most comfortable with. Cooper has already confirmed that Wilson has declined his request for an actual on-camera interview. Lemon confirmed that there was a meeting, but has said little else.

    Nearly every day for the last two weeks another woman has come out of the shadows to accuse Bill Cosby of everything from groping to full-blown rape. While his attorney is insisting that Cosby is nothing more than a victim of a horrific smear campaign, the industry is definitely fearing otherwise. NBC killed a new sitcom that had been in development and Netflix has shelved Cosby's latest stand-up gig that was filmed for them. At first, it was thought that Cosby's stand-up shows would survive these allegations, but many venues have begun canceling gigs into next year, indicating that the comedian may not come out of this with an active career intact.Late last week, Cosby did do a scheduled show in the Bahamas — and ironically enough the proceeds went to benefit a women's charity. The organization that he came out to support works with rape victims and domestic violence victims and provides counseling for both. No doubt Cosby was glad that this show went on because it made him look supportive of women's issues rather than an alleged abuser.What was appalling was that during this show Cosby found some crocodile tears for the slew of allegations against him and even joked onstage about his current battle in the public eye."Parents are coming and taking their children home, saying to me, 'Bill Cosby, you are an evil man! We will never eat your Jell-O pudding again!'" said Cosby to an audience that thought his jokes were hilarious.

Supposedly the couple had an agreement in place that meant that Kardashian would actually work less so she could spend more time with West and their daughter, North West. Once he took over as her official manager, though, her schedule actually ended up getting busier instead of lighter.According to a report by Radar Online, the couple has been fighting a lot because their time together is limited, but when it happens West only wants to talk about business. Once again, Kardashian is left feeling like the marriage she agreed to is nothing like what she had hoped for. She has said that her recent "Paper" cover shoot was to show off how confident she is feeling and that it was also kind of a last hurrah before getting pregnant again.

At some point in time, Rimes may choose to simply make peace with the fact that people really do not like them as a couple and get on with her life, but she is not exactly there yet. The ratings were horrendous and Rimes and Cibrian seemed to think that mocking the press would be their ticket to getting fans back in their back pockets. Obviously, that was an epic fail.So Rimes is back to her more normal approach of praising her husband and hoping that her fans will forget how she has said that she fears he will eventually cheat on her. Remember, these two first hooked up while married to other people and, for whatever reason, it was an indiscretion that fans never accepted.In an interview with Mail on Sunday, Rimes explained:"I was meant to be with Eddie. Fans felt as though I was their daughter or sister making a big mistake when we got together, because they've grown up with me. But we both acted from our hearts and that's impossible to turn around. Trust me, we both tried. Look, I've said 'I'm sorry' and made amends. Eddie is my soulmate — he and I completely get each other. We're opposites — I want to go shopping; he wants to ride dirt bikes — but we bring out the best in each other. Divorce is not an option for us. Obviously, if something horrible happened, I would have to take care of myself, but I don't see that happening."

    Last Friday, it looked like a decision in Ferguson was imminent, but now we know that the grand jury that will determine the fate of Police Officer Darren Wilson will reconvene Monday, Nov. 24, for more deliberations. On Aug. 9, Wilson shot and killed Michael Brown after an altercation between them turned into a life-and-death situation. While waiting to see if Wilson will be indicted, tension is palpable with protestors insisting that this has now become a case revolving around civil rights.A state of emergency has been called in the St. Louis area, and National Guard members are also already in place, leading many to believe that it is pretty obvious that Wilson will not be indicted. But Brown's family was assured a phone call from Ferguson prosecutors once a decision is reached, and they have yet to hear anything either way.

    It has been a week of unsettling drama for residents of Buffalo and other hard-hit areas of western New York who are contending with up to seven feet of snow on the ground around them. Adding to the pressure is the fact that the temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-40's today, meaning that the snow is melting almost as quickly as it fell and that can mean major flooding.

    We recently told you that Bravo was working hard to try and strike a deal with Caroline Manzo to bring her back to "The Real Housewives of New Jersey." She opted out of filming the most recent season, so the producers brought in a trio of new ladies who just did not click with the audience. Midway through, they brought Jacqueline Laurita back in a desperate attempt to get former fans to tune back in, and they realize that for the show to have any chance of pulling decent numbers, they need a favorite like Manzo back in the fold.Teresa Giudice used to be the glue that held "RHONJ" together, and viewers loved the havoc she wrecked in nearly episode. There seems to be a huge difference between lying about her sister-in-law's activities and bilking people out of millions, and once it was confirmed that Giudice is a criminal, her fans became few and far between.Bravo also has to try and clean up the reputation of the show because Giudice is headed to prison, Laurita's tax evasion has been catching headlines and Joe and Melissa Gorga's business dealings are always questionable. Part of what makes Manzo so popular is that she comes across as the hardworking, Italian mother, something that is respected.According to The Hollywood Life, it looks like Manzo is a sure bet to return to the show for Season 7, especially once Giudice is in jail and the rest of the ladies are in one way or another affected by her absence.

    Just yesterday, Nov. 22, we told you that Jason Knauf was named the new press secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. The 30-year-old is considered an industry whiz and also new to the royal family, something William has insisted upon. He did not want to import a media handler who had worked either at Buckingham Palace or Clarence House for fear their loyalty could be divided. Knauf will have the young royals's best interests in mind, and it is going to be his job to promote them as a more modern family.Part of William and Middleton's media success has been attributed to the fact that they have been promoted as a fairly normal couple that just so happen to have important jobs and lots of cash. They like to do things commoners also do, and there now seems to be a push to make William seem a bit softer."People" magazine featured an interview with British florist Paula Pryke, who just received the Order of the British Empire from William last week for exemplary service.

  • Marion Barry, Washington D.C.'s 'Mayor for Life,' Dead at Age 78

    News of Marion Barry's death at age 78 this morning, Nov. 23, according to CNN, has been met with mixed reactions. He clearly was the most-talked-about and influential politician in the history of the District of Columbia, but not always for the best reasons. Barry's four mayoral terms and years of service on the D.C. Council ultimately became secondary to one scandalous event that landed him in federal prison for six months.Back in 1990, FBI agents burst into a hotel room where Barry had just lit up a crack pipe with a younger woman after years of reportedly investigating the mayor's involvement with known drug dealers. Barry insisted it was a set-up, and while jurors ultimately deadlocked on most charges, he was convicted on one count that put him behind bars.Barry had been dubbed D.C.'s "Mayor for Life" and proved it by winning his final term as mayor after being released from prison. While his brand of politics was often thought to be shady, he remains a hero because of his commitment to those in low-income areas.Berry died shortly after midnight at United Medical Center after collapsing at his home. Ironically enough, Barry had just been released from Howard University Hospital Saturday.

She recently detailed their alleged love affair to a popular tabloid, and now she has taken things a step further, divulging some personal information about herself. Chandler claims she actually was born a boy, a little fact she admits she never has actually told Phelps.According to the "Daily Mail," Chandler was born a male in name only, and is actually intersex, which means she had male genitalia but no testicles while also having a uterus and no ovaries.The "Mail" said she took to her Facebook to explain things to everyone, saying, "I was never a man, never lived as a man. No one can say they knew me as a man or produce a photo of me as a man. There are people that remember me as an androgynous child at times because of what was forced upon me."

    Amber Vinson has endured a tough few months. Back in late September, she was one of a team of nurses in Texas who took care of Thomas Eric Duncan, the first confirmed Ebola patient in the U.S. Vinson quickly became known as the second nurse from the hospital to become infected with the virus, in part because the staff had not been properly trained to care for Ebola patients. She also was hit with tons of backlash after she had been cleared to fly home to Cleveland to plan her wedding, but then the CDC tried to say she should never have been on a plane.It was not until recently that Vinson was able to give a real interview, telling her side after weeks of negativity being thrown at her from complete strangers. Basically, what was supposed to be a happy time in her life has been turned upside down. As it turns out, after her apartment was turned upside down by the CDC during decontamination, even her engagement ring from fiance Derrek Markray had been destroyed."I took off all my jewelry, thinking that my jewelry would be safer at home than in the hospital, and when the decontamination team came in, everything that was on the surface was swiped into a bin for incineration. My jewelry box being on my nightstand was one of those things that got destroyed," explained Vinson in a recent interview.What came next for the nurse was pretty amazing, as Zales reached out to her after hearing that her ring had been destroyed and offered her a replacement for free.

  • Diane Sawyer's Famed Oscar-Winning Director Husband Mike Nichols Has Died

    Sad news this morning as we have learned that Mike Nichols, one of the all-time greats of American filmmaking, has died at the age of 83. Nichols, who directed films such as "The Graduate," "Primary Colors" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?," was married to ABC news anchor Diane Sawyer. It was the head of ABC News, Jeff Goldston, who broke the news this morning in a staff note that read:"I am writing with the very sad news that Diane's husband, the incomparable Mike Nichols, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening. In a triumphant career that spanned over six decades, Mike created some of the most iconic works of American film, television and theater — an astonishing canon ranging from "The Graduate," "Working Girl" and "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" to "Closer," "Charlie Wilson's War," "Annie," "Spamalot," "The Birdcage" and "Angels in America." He was a true visionary, winning the highest honors in the arts for his work as a director, writer, producer and comic and was one of a tiny few to win the EGOT — an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony."

  • Benzino Fired from 'Love & Hip Hop Atlanta' for Reportedly Making Death Threats Against Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez

    Fans of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" were surprised recently to learn that Benzino and his love, Althea Eaton, were handed their walking papers from VH1's hit show. The firing came after a reunion show taping that turned violent when the always iffy Joseline Hernandez went nuclear on Zino and punched Eaton before taking extra shots at a few other cast members as well. Eventually, Hernandez and her man Stevie J were escorted from the building and the rest of the cast continued on, mainly discussing what addicts the two are. At the time it looked likely that they would be fired, as everyone was in complete agreement about how crazy violent Hernandez had become. Instead, Benzino and Eaton were canned and it is reportedly his fault.According to a new report by TMZ, Stevie J went to the producers and claimed that Zino had started a smear campaign that ultimately turned into flat-out death threats against himself and Hernandez. Stevie J is insisting that it was those threats that actually got Zino and Eaton fired because they were far worse than Hernandez's messiness and violent tendencies. Zino has yet to clap back and comment, but it is coming because he does like to take his gripes with anything related to "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" straight to Twitter.
