CNN's Don Lemon Apologizes for Insensitive Comments Insinuating That Cosby Accuser Joan Tarshis Could Have Prevented Sexual Assault
CNN anchor Don Lemon found out just how easy it is to fall from grace last night. He was fortunate enough to have scored a sit-down interview with Joan Tarshis, one of the 14 women who have accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault, and rather than handle the issue with a certain level of sensitivity, he ended up infuriating viewers. Tarshis claims to have stayed quiet for decades because she was embarrassed and ashamed of what reportedly happened to her and this week is the first time she has ever spoken publicly about her unwanted encounter with Cosby. -
'RHONJ's' Teresa Giudice Is Wasting Away as Her Incarceration Date Gets Closer
When Teresa Giudice was sentenced to prison along with her husband Joe in early October, the judge thought she was being kind by allowing Teresa to report to a prison camp Jan. 5. Those few extra months of freedom meant both parents would be able to spend maybe their last holiday season together with their four daughters. While "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" couple has tried to publicly present a united front, the truth of the matter is that behind the scenes they are falling apart.Joe used his alcoholism as a way to try and get out of jail time, as his attorney made a plea for him to go to rehab rather than prison. That attempt failed and Joe's actions since being convicted are hardly that of a man looking to get sober. Instead, multiple sources close to the family have said he is out at the bars daily, and Teresa is not doing much better.According to a report by Radar Online, Teresa is barely eating anything at all and has lost 11 pounds in the last month. Friends claim she lives on coffee, wine and a few nibbles here and there because she is super stressed about going to jail. While she has not yet said it out loud, Teresa has to be, on some level, concerned about leaving her kids with a man who cannot stay sober. She likely never really believed that she would go to prison for the few counts of fraud she pled guilty to. If she did entertain even the notion, it was probably something that was, in her mind, years away — after Joe finished serving his time. -
Chris 'CT' Tamburello Breaks His Silence, Posts Heart-Wrenching Message to Longtime Love Diem Brown
Diem Brown was a rare kind of reality star. Sure, she was a hardcore competitor on several seasons of MTV's T"he Challenge," but she was even more fearless when it came to battling cancer on three different occasions. She used her time in the spotlight to help advocate for others's battling serious illnesses and started her own nonprofit called Medgift to help patients offset the steep cost of being seriously ill.Through it all, her boyfriend Chris "CT" Tamburello was there. While these two were not always together over the last eight years, they always reunited when it counted and Tamburello was with Brown right up until her death on Nov. 14. Her funeral was yesterday in New York City, and now that reality is starting to sink in, Tamburello finally broke his silence with a post on Instagram. -
NBC Puts the Brakes on New Bill Cosby Comedy Series After Netflix Shelves Special That Was Scheduled to Begin Streaming Next Week
It has been a devastating day for business in the life of comedic legend Bill Cosby. In the last several days he has watched as several old rape claims against him have been met in the media by a new rash of claims from women who have now gone on the record to tell their own alleged personal accounts of suffering at his hands. At first, Cosby's attorney simply denied that his client had done anything wrong and then insisted these old claims were baseless. But by late last night things shifted when the self-proclaimed world's first supermodel, Janice Dickinson, said Cosby had raped her back in 1982. Cosby's attorney came out swinging, but it was too late to save two new projects he has been working on.First, Netflix announced that it is shelving a special show Cosby had already filmed for it. It was scheduled to begin streaming next week and it is now on hold. If Cosby somehow pulls out of this scandal with his career at all intact, then there is a chance Netflix will show his special. Unfortunately, that is not going to be the case for Cosby's other deal.NBC was working on a new Cosby project that would have been executive produced by "The Cosby Show's" Tom Werner. In it, Cosby was supposed to star as Jonathan Franklin, head of a multigenerational family, who would use his humor and life experience to guide his daughters, sons-in-law and grandkids. It kind of sounded like an updated spin on the formula that worked so well 25 years ago. Unfortunately, it will never see the light of day because NBC has killed it completely. -
Peter Capaldi Will Return for the Ninth Season of 'Doctor Who' While Jenna Coleman's Future Remains Uncertain
If you are a fan of Peter Capaldi, then you will be thrilled to know that the actor has been confirmed to play the Time Lord in "Doctor Who" for the upcoming ninth season. Showrunner Steven Moffat confirmed that Capaldi's spin as the 12th doctor will extend for at least a second year. Unfortunately, Jenna Coleman's future still remains in question. She has portrayed Clara Oswald, the doctor's companion for the last two seasons, but there has been intense speculation that the upcoming Christmas episode will lead to her character's exit from the show.A DVD launch party for the recently completed eighth season of "Doctor Who" brought the cast back together, and in an interview Capaldi admitted that he was invited to read for the role of the eighth doctor back in 1996 and actually declined. Capaldi explains that he loved the role so much that he did not want to be crushed by going for it and then not getting it. -
Anna Wintour Says That Kanye West and Kim Kardashian Are Not 'Deeply Tasteful'
Remember when Kim Kardashian was granted her fondest wish and graced the cover of "Vogue" with Kanye West and their daughter North West? At the time she seemed to think that this one photo shoot was proof that she had gone from Ray J's dirty sex tape to a real class act. Getting Anna Wintour's seal of approval for that "Vogue" shoot meant everything, but now it seems Kardashian might have read into it all a little too much.Wintour was speaking at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Monday, Nov. 17, and when asked about that infamous cover, she staunchly defended her decision to have Kardashian and her family grace it, but she also let her reason for doing so slip and it is a zinger, according to the "Daily Mail."Wintour talked about needing to, at times, make "Vogue" edgy and create some buzz for it to keep up with current pop culture."I think if we just remain deeply tasteful and just put deeply tasteful people on the cover, it would be a rather boring magazine! Nobody would talk about us. It's very important that people do talk about us. The first celebrity that I put on the cover of "Vogue" was Madonna, and that was considered completely controversial at the time, too. It's such a long time ago probably no one remembers, but she was a very controversial figure. Now she's part of the establishment." said Wintour in the "Mail.". -
NBC's 'Today' in Turmoil as Rumors Circulate That Natalie Morales and Willie Geist Have Already Been Fired: Savannah Guthrie Could Be Next
The real story of what is going on behind the scenes at NBC's "Today" seems to depend on who you talk to, but one thing is for sure: It is not pretty. On Monday night, Nov. 17, the network confirmed that Jamie Horowitz, who was brought in less than three months ago as the morning show's general manager, had been fired. Horowitz was originally hired to make changes that would help Today climb back to the top of the ratings, but he was met with hostility from nearly everyone when he tried to implement changes.According to a report by Page Six, Matt Lauer found out that Horowitz was gearing up to get rid of Natalie Morales, Willie Geist and even his co-host Savannah Guthrie. Lauer then went to NBC's top brass in protest and had Horowitz fired, proving he really is ultimately in charge of major Today decisions. -
Tracy Morgan's Career in Doubt While He Attempts to Recover from a Severe Brain Injury
Five months after actor-comedian Tracy Morgan's limo bus was struck by a speeding Wal-Mart truck on the way back from a gig at a Delaware casino, we are learning more details about the devastating accident. Morgan is thought to be fortunate to have survived the accident that killed fellow comedian James McNair because he suffered a subdural hematoma, which kept him comatose with bleeding around his brain.Morgan and three others have filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart, and attorneys for both sides met behind closed doors yesterday. Morgan's attorney, Benedict Morelli, gave the press an update on Morgan's condition and a realistic view of his prognosis."He's fighting to get better, and if there's a chance for him to be back to the Tracy Morgan he once was, he's going to try to do that. He's still fighting and trying to live his life at the same time and trying to get better, and he's just not better. We're hoping and praying to get him back to where he was. But the jury's out. He had a very, very bad brain injury. Let's assume for a moment that he can go back and do everything that he was able to do before. When is that going to be? A year from now? Two? Three? I don't know. Six months? I doubt it," said Morelli. -
Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris Return to 'Love & Hip Hop New York' with a Daughter on the Way as Drug Trial Looms
The official cast for the upcoming winter season of VH1's "Love & Hip Hop New York" has finally been announced, and a lot of the regulars have decided to take a season off by leaving the network to add several new faces to the mix. Two who will be returning, though, are Yandy Smith and Mendeecees Harris. If you are a fan of the show, then you already know that Smith spent months fighting to get Harris out of jail after he was incarcerated in upstate New York.Harris was finally released on $600,000 bail last April after being locked up for 15 months, and he is still facing trial based on charges that he allegedly helped to run a drug pipeline from New York City to the Rochester region. Smith may have come up with the money to get her man out, but their troubles are far from over. Add to that the fact that Smith is currently expecting their second child while also raising Harris's older son and you get the makings of an interesting storyline. -
Afton Burton's Mother Will Not Attend Daughter's Jailhouse Wedding to Charles Manson
Charles Manson has been in the news this week, and for once it has nothing to do with his case. In fact, he is not even eligible for parole again until 2027, and by then he will be 97. That has not stopped 26-year-old Afton "Star" Burton from deciding to marry him, though. Not only did she apply for a marriage license on their behalf earlier this month, according to CNN, but she has considered herself Manson's wife for years.Burton left her home in Illinois at 19 in order to live in Corcoran, California, where Manson is incarcerated following his conviction in masterminding a mass murder that left seven dead in 1969. She currently runs several websites in support of Manson's innocence. According to Burton's mother, Melissa Burton, the couple appears to love each other and they do take care of each other. She claims Manson's work from behind bars with environmental issues is what drew her daughter to him in the first place. Melissa believes her daughter is smart and, after growing to love Manson, is following her heart. That does not mean Melissa has any intention of attending her daughter's wedding, though. Under California prison rules, up to 10 people from the outside world can be present for the jailhouse nuptials, but she will not be one of them. No official date has been set yet and Burton has confirmed they will need to marry on a regular visitation day. -
Brittany Maynard's Mother Debbie Ziegler Lashes Out at the Vatican for Vilifying Her Daughter's Decision to Die

Latest Bill Cosby Accuser Joan Tarshis Gives Graphic Details That Mirror Those of Other Women in New Interview
The last few weeks have not been good for Bill Cosby as new allegations have been made against the actor who has built an entire career on his wholesome image. An entire generation was raised on Cosby's portrayal of Dr. Cliff Huxtable and his peddling Pudding Pops during commercial breaks. Now, this same man is being painted as a serial rapist by at least 13 different woman who, at least up until now, have never met.Last week, a former teen actress named Barbara Bowman penned an editorial in "The Washington Post," accusing Cosby of drugging and raping her back in the 1980s. Yesterday, Joan Tarshis decided that it was her turn to speak up and tell CNN in an exclusive interview of what allegedly happened to her more than 30 years ago. Tarshis tells a story similar to what all of Cosby's other Jane Doe's have told authorities: She claims to have been drugged and raped by Cosby on more than one occasion. -
Kim Kardashian Says That She Posed Full Frontal Because She Feels Good About Herself
Kim Kardashian attempted to break the Internet last week with a series of nude photos that were featured in the Winter 2014 issue of "Paper" magazine. Now, after the dust has settled, Kardashian gets to spend the next week talking to everyone about actually doing this shoot, and she started with an interview with Australia's "The Project." Before teaching host Rove McManus how to try and balance a champagne glass on his bottom, she chatted about deciding to strip down for the shoot."I was so honored and excited to work with [photographer Jean-Paul Goude] because he is a legend, and for me that was something I wanted to do to make myself feel confident. As a role model I'm not saying anyone else should do that, but for me it was an art project and it taught me to do what you want to do. I'm never one to preach, but I felt really positive and really good about myself. I love the photos, I did it for me, I hope other people like them." -
Lisa Rinna Claims That 'RHOBH' Is Similar to 'Melrose Place,' Just Without the Script
When "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" returns to Bravo this evening for its fifth season, there will be two new faces joining the cast that will be quite familiar to many viewers. Both Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson have played hugely popular soap characters with a great daytime television following. Obviously, Bravo is hoping this will translate into fantastic ratings right out of the gate, and it probably has every reason to believe that that can happen.Rinna left "Days of Our Lives" back in the 1990s to hop over to a plumb role on the original "Melrose Place" and, according to an interview with E!, being on "RHOBH" feels similar to that gig."This is very close to doing "Melrose Place" without a script in your hand. Like everything in life, it's all about timing. It's funny, when I went on to "Melrose Place" it was Year 5. This is Year 5 of "Housewives" ... To be honest with you, after talking about it with my husband, it's been a really great gig for me. It felt right, to be honest with you ... and I like an adventure, I was looking for an adventure." -
Will Justin Hartley's Performance on 'Y&R' Live Up to the Gauntlet Thrown Down by Michael Muhney?
Adam Newman finally returned to "The Young & the Restless" canvas last week by way of Justin Hartley's portrayal. While the character is not fully back in the Genoa City mix, Hartley has had enough interactive scenes to give viewers a feel for what is to come. The actor took over the role, which was recast after Michael Muhney was fired late last year amid a storm of controversy, knowing that he may have a bit of an uphill battle when it comes to winning over fans.Muhney's performance on "Y&R" kept longtime fans glued to their televisions, and after his last scenes finally aired this past January the show's ratings plummeted. Muhney's fans were vocal about how they were not going to support the show once he left it, and then they appeared to back up those words with action. Part of the issue was that Muhney was fired due to allegations of sexual harassment, and then not only were charges not filed, but "Y&R" actually considered rehiring him this past summer, leading many to believe he should never have been cut in the first place. -
Dr. Phil Insists That June Shannon Is a Compulsive Liar Who Purposely Dates Criminals
"Mama" June Shannon is continuing to try and save face in light of the scandal swirling around her. Supposedly, Shannon has been dating Mark McDaniel, a man who served 10 years in prison for molesting her then-8-year-old daughter Anna Cardwell. The repercussions of her dalliance have been far-reaching, as TLC has decided to pull the plug on her family's reality show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" and her children seem to be pitted against each other, depending on who or what they believe. Shannon has opted to break her silence and has hit up the talk-show circuit in an attempt to tell her own version of the truth.According to an interview that TMZ conducted with Dr. Phil, after listening to Shannon's explanations he has come to the conclusion that she is a compulsive liar who is drawn to criminals. Shannon's sit-down interview with him aired Monday, Nov. 17, and perhaps the biggest thing that we learned from it was that four of the men she has dated long term have been incarcerated — two of them for sex crimes, with the man she claims fathered Lauryn and Jessica Shannon not eligible for release until 2026! -
Dwight Howard Under Criminal Investigation for Child Abuse in Georgia, Admits Beating Son with Belt Buckle
It looked for a moment like NBA star Dwight Howard was going to be off the hook in a child abuse investigation that began in Florida. Howard's ex, Royce Reed, accused him of beating their 6-year-old son Braylon, with a belt buckle, something that was actually substantiated after a full exam by the Department of Children and Families. Dr. Kesler said that abrasions on the child were consistent with being struck repeatedly with a belt buckle, and Howard himself confirmed he had punished his son in that manner. According to Howard, it was how he was punished as a kid and had no idea it was wrong. Even after all this, Florida closed up its investigation, saying there was not enough credible proof. It looked like Howard was cleared — at least until yesterday.According to a new TMZ report, Braylon's injuries actually occurred in Georgia and the Cobb County Police Department had been asking for the file on this case for months, with no cooperation. After TMZ actually posted Florida DCF's findings, it gave Cobb County more leverage and the file ended up in their hands within a few hours. -
Jennifer Aniston Flattered by Oscar Buzz Surrounding Her Upcoming Role in 'Cake'
The New York City premiere of "Cake" on Sunday was just one more joyous stop on Jennifer Aniston's recent whirlwind of positive press junkets. Her latest flick is an Indie gem about a grieving woman who is also suffering from chronic pain and for the first time in her life, Aniston's performance is worthy of Oscar buzz. The consensus is that, not only is "Cake" that good, but so is the actress' appearance in it. -
Nickelodeon 'Double Dare' Host Marc Summers Says That He Was Fired for Having OCD

He has built a career in the television game show industry, but there have been some serious bumps in the road. Summers has talked about the fact that he has OCD for years, and once he got himself under control then Summers decided to use his position in the public eye to help educate others. Kate Gosselin Allegedly Shared a Room with Bodyguard Steve Neild While Filming 'Celebrity Apprentice'
Kate Gosselin, formerly of "Kate Plus 8," has been brushing off rumors about her dating her bodyguard Steve Neild for years. She has insisted that he is just part of the hired help and Neild's wife, Gina, has posted family photos on Facebook a few times this year to try to quiet the rumor mill. The problem is that random strangers pop up reporting seeing Gosselin and Neild out together, and they always look cozy. Today someone else spoke up: Kenya Moore, who stars with Gosselin on the upcoming season of "Celebrity Apprentice," and her input was pretty incriminating. In an exclusive interview with "Us Weekly," Moore confirmed what many have suspected after learning that Neild was with Gosselin in New York City while filming the show. "That bodyguard was very interesting because they actually shared a room — I don't know if I'm supposed to say that — so he was around a lot," confirmed Moore. -
Kristian Alfonso Throws a Bit of Shade at the Notion of Peter Reckell Returning to 'Days of Our Lives'
Way back in the 1980s, soap operas were filled with supercouples, with one of the biggest being "Days of our Lives's" Bo and Hope Brady, played by Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso. The two quickly garnered a huge fan base that, even to this day, still rallies for them to reunite. Reckell and Alfonso returned to "Days" in the '90s and had an intertwined storyline until his character was sent packing a few years ago.Reckell has said he understood that his departure was basically making room for younger leading men and that it goes with the territory. But he has never agreed with how his character left town and believes the fans deserved better than what they got.In October, a series of tweets by Reckell led fans to think there was the possibility of him returning to "Days." He later admitted that he did make some calls to producers because he believed there was a logical reason to bring him back onto the canvas. In a recent interview, Alfonso could not have agreed any less and thought that bringing the character of Bo back just to allow Hope to move on was ridiculous. -
Kate Middleton and Prince William Scrambling to Find a New Press Secretary for Their Kensington Palace Office
Working as the official press secretary for Prince William, Kate Middleton and Prince Harry would be a great gig ... if anyone could actually land it. Their former media-handler left his position nearly two months ago, and while a string of extremely qualified candidates have been interviewed for the job, Prince William is reportedly making the process difficult.According to "The Daily Mail," securing a new PR person has become extremely tedious.Former BBC producer Ed Perkins quit Kensington Palace more than seven weeks ago, after only two years as their press secretary, and Prince William, Kate and [Prince] Harry have still not found a suitable candidate to succeed him."It's a nightmare," claims a senior courtier to the "Mail." "Prince William does not take advice readily — let's put it like that. Several well-qualified candidates have been ruled out." -
Apollo Nida Admits That He Lied to Everyone About Kenya Moore's Sexual Advances on 'RHOA'
We are not quite sure what to make of Apollo Nida's deciding to admit on camera to telling a pack of lies to the entire cast of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" for the past few years. He has insisted for the last two seasons that Kenya Moore had been sexting him, basically offering her services — something Nida claimed to shoot down because he loved his wife, Phaedra Parks. In last night's Nov. 16 episode, Nida offered an apology to Moore for lying about her, and when confronted by the rest of the cast he admitted that every sexual advance he claimed she made was a lie.Obviously, Moore has been vindicated after spending years dealing with non-stop hate from this crew thanks to Nida's lies, but why did he come clean now? Nida has claimed he wanted to make peace with people before he surrendered to prison officials back in September. But was this about him feeling guilty, or was it more like Nida decided to show everyone how dirty and vicious he is because he is going away for eight years anyway? -
Dr. Martin Salia Dies of Adavanced Symptoms of Ebola at Nebraska Medical Center Despite Testing Negative for Virus Last Week
Sadly, Nebraska Medical Center has confirmed that Dr. Martin Salia has died after a fast-moving battle against the Ebola virus. The surgeon had been treating patients at several facilities in Sierra Leone when he became ill himself. As early as Nov. 6, Salia had tested negative for the deadly virus, but by Saturday, Nov. 15, he was transferred to Nebraska in deteriorating condition.A press conference surrounding Salia's case was scheduled to take place earlier this morning. In the meantime, Nebraska has confirmed that it had treated Salia with a blood plasma transfusion and Zmapp therapy that has worked on several other patients. The surgeon had reportedly arrived at the facility Saturday already showing signs of kidney and respiratory failure, neither of which he was able to rebound from. -
New Video Allegedly Shows Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson Making Random Threats to Mike Arman in 2013
This is probably the worst time for anything else negative regarding Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson to be released to the press, but a new video has leaked depicting his demeanor with a suspect in October 2013 and it is not good. Wilson reportedly showed up on Mike Arman's property to issue a court summons for derelict vehicles. Arman pulls out his cellphone and informs Wilson that he is going to record everything, making it sound like he was already leery of the local police department. In the 15-second clip, you can clearly hear Wilson tell Arman, "If you don't stop taking pictures, I'm gonna lock your ass up."Wilson tells him that he has no right to film him and physically moves the camera. Here is the issue in the police report filed by Wilson: His depiction of the entire incident is basically disproved by the video. Arman was charged with failure to comply until his attorney saw the video. He was also charged with violating pitbull violations, which is a bit funny because the dog was actually a bull dog. -
'Love & Hip Hop's' Moniece Slaughter Accused of Bilking NBA Star Joe Smith Out of More Than $100K
"Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" would be really boring if everyone kept their noses clean, right? I am sure VH1 runs like a well-oiled machine on that belief, so every time one of its stars catches a negative headline, the execs must see extra dollar signs. This time around, it is Moniece Slaughter who is making waves. Sure, she has been known to have some violent tendencies on camera, but now an ex is accusing Slaughter of bilking him out of $109,000.According to a report by TMZ, former NBA star Joe Smith has filed a police report alleging that Slaughter wrote nine checks between October 2011 and March 2012 to a man named Timothy Clayton Carr. Smith claims not to know Carr and says he never wrote the checks either. Carr claims he cashed the checks for Slaughter because she said she did not have a bank account to do so herself. At least, that is what he told police in June 2012. Carr also claims not to have known that there was any issue at all until the final check he cashed for Slaughter ended up being canceled. -
Charlie Hunnam Thinks That Playing Christian Grey Would Have Been Disastrous
When Charlie Hunnam's name was first attached to the film adaptation of "Fifty Shades of Grey," there was an instantaneous reaction by women everywhere. Those not too familiar with Hunnam's work seemed to think he did not exactly look like their mental image of Christian Grey, and those who already liked the "Sons of Anarchy" star thought his rough-and-tumble style might be a perfect fit. Hunnam pulled out of the film adaptation pretty quickly and, of course, rumors took over. Did he not have chemistry with Dakota Johnson, the woman who needs to play a convincing Anastasia Steele, or were the scripts garbage?Hunnam insisted it really was bad timing, an excuse many were not ready to accept because surely he already had his schedule when he first agreed to the role, right? Well, Hunnam is covering the December 2014 issue of "Men's Health" — to perfection — and in the accompanying interview he explains the real story about backing out of Fifty Shades of Grey. -
New Raw Video Captures MH17 Moments After It Crashed in Eastern Ukraine, Killing All on Board
Can you believe that it has already been four months since Malaysia Flight MH17 was shot down in the eastern edge of Ukraine? Even more shocking is the fact that Dutch investigators were just finally allowed to begin picking up the large debris field yesterday, Nov. 16! It is widely believed that pro-Russian rebels shot the passenger plane down, killing all 283 people on board, because they mistakenly believed it was a Ukrainian plane. Dutch investigators have had to fight to get anywhere near the wreckage up until now because of intense, ongoing fighting in the area.At the same time, we are learning that there is now realistic hope for solving the official investigation that has been opened up by officials from the Netherlands: New video has surfaced of the smoldering plane moments after it crashed. The Associated Press released the footage, which shows local villagers running toward the smoking debris, asking if the pilot had been found. Apparently the rebels will attempt to locate and kidnap a pilot after downing an aircraft or jet. Clearly, from this horrific footage, any survival was impossible. -
Bill Cosby Is Doing Damage Control, Refuses to Discuss Revived Rape Allegations
Bill Cosby has spent a decade defending himself against allegations made by various women. While the comedian has prided himself on having a fairly wholesome image with generations remembering him primarily as Dr. Huxtable, when not peddling Pudding Pops, a more sinister side has been alleged. In the last week or so, rumors again have begun swirling about Cosby potentially drugging and raping women with one of his accusers, Barbara Bowman, speaking out again. While Cosby has been outspoken in the past, vehemently denying that he has ever put an inappropriate hand on any woman, this time around he has chosen to let his legal team do all the damage control.According to a report by TMZ, his attorney came out swinging, saying, "Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work." -
Dr. Martin Salia is 'Extremely Critical' While Being Treated in Nebraska for Ebola Virus
The United States was Ebola-free for a few short days before the news broke that Dr. Martin Salia was being flown to Nebraska from Sierra Leone. As it turns out, Salia is a citizen of Sierra Leone but lives in Maryland, was working as a general surgeon at Kissy United Methodist Hospital in the country's capital. Kissy is not an Ebola treatment unit but Salia has also apparently worked in at least three other facilities that are. It's still unclear when or how Salia came into contact with the deadly virus, but five other doctors in Sierra Leone have not only contracted the disease, but also were killed by it.
