Three months after Robin Williams committed suicide, we are learning much more about what likely caused him to take such drastic measures. His autopsy results were released to the public last week, and they revealed that the actor had no alcohol or illegal drugs in his system at the time of his death. There was originally intense speculation that Williams had fallen off the wagon in his final days after years of sobriety. His wife Susan Schneider later attributed his depression to a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease.According to a report by TMZ, Williams had also been suffering from Lewy Body Dementia, a condition commonly affiliated with Parkinson's. People with both conditions often have severe side effects to the necessary medication and hallucinations are common. Patients may see phantom people, animals or objects, and they often try to converse with the hallucinations.
Dr. Craig Spencer Leaving Bellevue Hospital Today After Being Declared Ebola-Free

On Oct. 23, Dr. Craig Spencer was confirmed to have contracted the often-deadly Ebola virus. He had just returned to New York City after treating patients in Guinea for Doctors Without Borders and, upon spiking a fever, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital. Emergency workers who dealt with Spencer apparently got their official protocol correct because in the weeks since his initial diagnosis no one else has contracted the disease.On Monday afternoon, Nov. 10, "The New York Times" confirmed that Spencer is now Ebola-free and scheduled for release this afternoon.The plan to release Spencer has not been publicly announced, but was confirmed Monday by two people familiar with his treatment but who declined to be identified because they did not have permission to release the information. A spokeswoman for Bellevue did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

According to the agency, the clinic screwed up by not dosing Joan properly.Propofol's dosage is dependent upon a patient's weight and, apparently, Yorkville never bothered to weigh Joan. According to an explosive report by TMZ, a staff member told the New York agency that they made a mistake while inputting the proper dosage into the computer and that Joan was given double the dosage of what is safe for a woman of her size. Not only did they screw up the medication, but the report also alleges that if Joan had been as closely monitored as a patient under Propofol is supposed to be, then staffers would have realized she was starting to die right in front of them! Instead, by the time the two doctors and team of nurses in the room realized what was happening, she was already in full cardiac arrest.

The Epicenter for Ebola Virus Has Moved to Liberian Community of Jene-Wonde in West Africa

While the United States seems to have managed to prevent an outbreak of the deadly Ebola virus — at least for now — people in West Africa are still suffering. A man traveled from a large Liberian city to the small community of Jene-Wonde in Grand Cape Mount County, bringing with him his sick daughter. Within days the man and his family had died, triggering one of the worst Ebola outbreaks so far. Jene-Wonde is near the border of Sierra Leone and is currently considered to be the epicenter of the deadly disease, according to the Associated Press.The community is extremely small with absolutely no established health care. That means that the leaders of the area have no idea how to handle the crisis. They realize that surrounding communities are afraid of them, so rather than initially inviting skilled teams in to help with the dead and sanitize the area, they instead tried to hide the outbreak by burying the dead in ways that ultimately helped spread the virus.Now as many as 10 percent of the community has been infected, and there is a realistic fear that if the Ebola virus is not contained, then everyone will succumb to it.

Colorado State's Stefan Sortland Caught with Stolen Ambulance After Blowing Lines of Coke, Taking Molly and Eating Wheat Thins

Every once in a while, a story comes out that is just way too bizarre not to be true, and luckily, we have stumbled onto one of those today. On Halloween night, 18-year-old Colorado State student Stefan Sortland went to a concert where he took Molly and blew lines of cocaine. Apparently he was not the only one partying a little too hard, because when paramedics finished treating another student on campus, they returned to find their ambulance missing. Luckily, the GPS on board allowed it to be tracked to nearby Loveland, and that is when the real fun began.According to ABC 7 News, Loveland police officers said they found the ambulance in the middle of Highway 34 with several doors open, heavy front-end damage and fluid leaking. One officer said it appeared the driver of the ambulance had hit the raised median, jumped the curb, hit a sign, went the wrong way and crossed back over the median before stopping.Officers said they found Sortland standing about 30 yards from the stopped ambulance wearing an EMT vest. Officers shot him with a stun gun when he refused their commands. Sortland had a blanket, a cellphone and a box of Wheat Thins with him.

Ever since two Texas nurses tested positive for the Ebola virus after caring for Thomas Eric Duncan, our attention has been sharply focused on making sure that health care providers have the necessary training to safely treat future patients. Several facilities across the country have gone to great lengths in an attempt to force administrators to make sure the proper training is offered and, in some cases, nurses who feel unprepared have voted to strike.In northern California, there are 18,000 nurses in 21 hospitals and 65 clinics owned by Kaiser Permanente who are planning a two-day strike beginning Tuesday, Nov. 11. According to Charles Idelson, a spokesman for National Nurses United, the union's contract with nonprofit Kaiser expired in August and was extended until October.

Andrew Fryberg is Fourth Young Victim to Die in Washington School Shooting at the Hands of His Cousin, Jaylen Fryberg

Marysville-Pilchuck High School, located nearly an hour from Seattle, is grieving the loss of another student as it has been confirmed that Andrew Fryberg has died. Fryberg was one of five students gunned down in the school cafeteria on Oct. 24 by his cousin, Jaylen Fryberg. Andrew, Zoe Galasso, Shaylee Chuckulnaskit and Gia Soriano all were shot in the head and never recovered. One student, Nate Hatch, was shot in the jaw and was released from the hospital earlier this week.
