Although a few months ago it seemed as if Hole would be joining Pavement, Pixies, Soundgarden, and plenty of others on the '90s alt-rock reunion bandwagon, those plans have been definitively scrapped. In a recent interview with The Philippine Inquirer, singer Courtney Love said that though she is currently working with Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson, the previously rumored full-band reunion tour would in fact not be happening. -

Duran Duran Is Suing Its Fan Club, Wants $40,000 In Damages
English pop group Duran Duran, best known for its '80s hits "Girls On Film," "Rio," and "Hungry Like The Wolf," is suing one of its own fan clubs based out of Chicago, reports Chicago Sun-Times. The fan club has allegedly failed to follow through with its contractually obligated revenue payments to Duran Duran. The band is seeking $40,000 in damages as a result of this alleged breach of contract. -
Trailer For A$AP Rocky Movie Released, Titled 'SVDDXNLY' [WATCH]
Though Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky is just 25 years old and has only a single album to his name (2013's Long. Live. A$AP), he's apparently done enough during his short career to warrant a documentary about his life and rise to fame. The documentary is titled SVDDXNLY and has been helmed by Noisey, who released the film's trailer today, which you can watch below. Noisey also released a statement about the film. -

Though the song doesn't offer anything particularly insightful, it is exactly the sort of ethereally produced, YOLO-heavy anthem that we should be expecting from pop in 2014. Just in time for the first day of the annual Gathering of the Juggalos, Detroit rap duo Insane Clown Posse find themselves in a bit of characteristically bizarre legal trouble. According to the Detroit Free Press, fellow Michigan rapper Kid Rock has received a subpoena to hand over a piece of evidence in relation to a sexual harassment suit filed against the Insane Clown Posse by their former publicist Andrea "Andy" Pellegrini. The piece of evidence in question is a glass dildo. -

It looks like Jack White has joined Nirvana and Bruce Springsteen on the list of rockers who think Lorde is pretty cool. At a show in Milwaukee last night, July 21, White performed a cover of the New Zealand pop star's massive hit "Royals." As of right now, the only video footage of this performance is a brief, blurry video posted to Instagram, but it's definitely enough to get the picture and realize just how strange this must have been for the audience.
