Skrillex's record label, OWSLA, hosted its own stage at Australian touring electronic music festival, Stereosonic, at the end of December 2014. They decided to put together a recap video of what happened down under in the studio for the Triple J mixes, on stage during various sets and of Skrillex "interviewing" some of his friends. • Missy Elliott Reportedly Tabbed by Diplo and Skrillex on Jack Ü 'Take Ü There' Remix

Is it 2002 again? Gas is under $2 a gallon and Missy Elliott is back in the charts. Ever since the Super Bowl, the "Lose Control" rapper has become one of the most talked about figures in music, overshadowing Katy Perry at her own halftime show, despite the excessive fireworks, massive lion and left shark. According to a report by Hot 97 presenter and industry insider, Miss Info, Elliott will not be letting this opportunity pass by without having a say in the matter. According to the report, Elliott did something a little different this time, remixing Diplo & Skrillex's single as Jack Ü "Take Ü There" featuring Kiesza.
  • Skrillex Shares 'Groundhog Day'-Inspired "Doompy Poomp" Video [WATCH]

Skrillex has teamed with "Vice's" The Creators Project, known in the electronic music world for their work doing profiles on the Daft Punk "Random Access Memories" collaborators, to present his latest music video. The video revives possibly the least-heralded song "Doompy Poomp" from Sonny Moore's LP "Recess" in the manner one might expect Skrillex to do. Fittingly released on Groundhog Day, the 3 minute 18 second video celebrates the 1993 film starring Bill Murray, where the main character has the same life events happen to him over and over without fail.
  • Nathan Barnatt Dances to Skrillex's "Ease My Mind" With Niki & The Dove [WATCH]

Nathan Barnatt is known for his creative and at times wacky videos, and his new clip for Skrillex's "Ease My Mind" featuring the vocals of Niki & The Dove is no different. Taken from Moore's 2014 album Recess, "Ease My Mind" has been one of the standouts from the album and has remained one of the lasting singles to come from the album. Barnatt's video does what he does best, bringing his whacked out dance moves to the Skrillex-crafted beat. He manages to mold his odd personality and quick editing into a storyline about love and love lost that fits with the theme of the song. If it were not for the fact that Skrillex has pretty twisted videos and Nathan Barnatt is somewhat of a YouTube celebrity, someone might mistake this for his official video.
  • Sónar 2015 Lineup: Skrillex, FKA twigs, Flying Lotus, Die Antwoord Added

Sónar Festival just got a lot bigger with a second batch of artists that have been added to its 2015 lineup. The legendary Barcelona, Spain-based festival has added 32 names to its roster of artists, and it did not skimp on the acts. Sticking to the mission of keeping away from your typical commercial acts, Sónar added names like Jamie xx, Maya Jane Coles, Die Antwoord, Flying Lotus and FKA twigs to the roster. Not afraid to push boundaries, Sónar has tabbed Skrillex as one of its Phase 2 headliners, which caused quite a stir the first time around, but now not many will raise a fuss this time because hating on Skrillex has largely gone out of style.

In 2015, Ultra is making a serious commitment to the underground, giving it two stages, Resistance and Carl Cox and Friends, which has not announced its lineup yet, but he will have to find some names outside those on the Resistance lineup.
